For some reason, designing logos is always the most difficult part of building a brand for me—both in my day job, and for my passion projects. It’s not that I’m bad at it, I just always psych myself out. 😰
Well, the Muse decided to pay me a visit today in the form of Tim Burton (no surprise there, I will love his work forever)! I was working on another project related to the show Wednesday, and discovered how Netflix simply uses the letter W from the poster art as their logo on social media. It’s so simple, elegant, and darkly whimsical. Most importantly, when you see it, it’s like… Yeah… WEDNESDAY! 🖤
Then it hit me: An inverted “W” is an “M,” and “M” is for magic, right? So I started playing around with my own version of the Wednesday logo, starting with the word Magic, and… wow, the new Magic Vibes Only logo just washed over me like one of Wednesday’s visions, and now I’m super happy with it! 😍
It reminds me of an occult symbol, and I love the Wicked vibes with the purple and green. What do you think? I’m a little obsessed now, and just wanted to share how fun the process was, once I snapped out of the creative block. 🤓
