In my patchouli and ylang-ylang-infused ritual bath this morning, I visualized washing away hindrances, channeling a sparkling orb of light through my soul, symbolizing a magical fresh start. This helped me to breathe deeper, to become still to my core. It also made me smile and feel like I was creating a magical, fresh start with water, salt, herbs, and imagination.
Whether a ritual soak or a simple bubble bath, a morning bath sets a gentle tone for the day, sparking creativity and opening us to new possibilities. It ignites the imagination, warms the body, and enchants the soul; whether you believe in this “magic stuff” or not, a daytime bath is such a simple magical tool.
And in this bath, I saw those four words like a mantra: “Once upon a time.”
